Skiers in theBlack Hillsare happier than usual to hit the slopes thanks to a little help from Mother Nature. Terry Peak Ski Resort received 12 to 15 inches of snow, since Wednesday.
General Manager, Tom Marsing says he has made an effort to let the public to know the resort has snow despite the drier winter. But by the looks of it on Sunday, the skiers have taken notice.
“We’ve been struggling with snow all year long as most of the skiers know. So this just makes it nice and it should help us through the month of March,” said Marsing.
He says he’s looking forward to more snow and skiers next month, with students out of school for spring break.
